Why do you exist?
His Humble Servants, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that exists to serve underprivileged and under-served communities. We are headquartered in DE, but have local servants in or around the four coasts of the US. Our main activities are out of Los Angeles, where the founder/owner resides, and include serving the underprivileged (homeless) and under-served or underrepresented communities in the greater Los Angeles area. At times, this is handing out water in the heat of the summer or blankets in whatever LA calls winter. Other times, it may be tutoring children and youth who cannot pay for it, or showing the older than college generation how to build a resume or go on an interview.
As you can tell, it's difficult to sum up what we do in a few words. However, if you feel led to assist or volunteer just let us know!
What's a Servant?
A Servant, as His Humble Servants (HHS) is concerned, is a person who believes in God, has accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, and has shown enough interest and commitment to HHS activities that they are promoted from the volunteer position to a more permanent Servant position. This position and it's understanding is limited to HHS, and is not in any way transferable. However, this does look good on the resume... for God.
What happened to the original site, blogs, and postings?
They were all deleted after the original hosting expired. We were able to hold onto the domain name, as you can see, but lost all contents. To keep this from happening again, we need donors! Everything helps!!
How do I become a volunteer/servant?
Just reach out via the Contact Us section of the site and we'd be happy to assist. We are always welcoming new participants, volunteers, and artists who are looking for promotion/management.
Can you guys/gals do my website?
Of course! Just contact us via one of the links above and we'd be happy to assist.
What else do you all do?
Our services are as limitless as our servants; i.e. if we have an artist (we do) we can draw sketches at your party, if we have a videographer (we do) we can record/edit your videos, if we have a technology consultant (we do) we can advise in that regard, if we have a web developer (we do) we can create/edit/host/manage your website, and so much else. While the site lists several of our servants, partners, and directors, it is not an all-inclusive list of the personnel and ways we can assist.
What’s your return policy?
You have donated to a non-profit organization, and we normally do not provide or allow for returns of any kind. However, please contact us directly, and we'll see how we can make everyone happy.
Do you ship oversees and to P.O. boxes?
Yes, we’ll ship your package anywhere that can accept deliveries.
